Preventive Care in Nursing and Midwifery Journal is an international scholarly and open access journal published quarterly by Nursing and Midwifery Faculty of Zanjan University of Medical Sciences and Health Services. The Journal aims to promote and publish the findings of research in the field of nursing and midwifery care with a concentration on the three levels of prevention.
Considering the primordial, primary, secondary and tertiary levels of prevention, innovative papers, reviews, and case reports in the area of preventing non-communicable and communicable diseases from all around the world. Specifically, papers that address diverse levels of prevention of important health issues in nursing and midwifery, for instance, community health nursing, cancer, cardiovascular disease, trauma and car accident injury, maternal and child health, elderly health, social health determinants, mental disorders, and health education are of great importance. We are also keen on the publishing articles on nursing and midwifery models and theories. In addition, original studies focused on improving the ability of health professionals to provide effective clinical prevention and public health services are addressed.
